Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual event that was started in the UK in 2001 by the Mental Health Foundation

At The Prep, we all know the importance of looking after our physical and mental health and when a friend breaks a leg, has a bad cold or twists an ankle, it can be easy to see ways to help.

It can be more difficult to see who needs support with their mental health; sometimes people feel more anxious than usual, worried or sad, but with no outwards signs like crutches or a bandage, it can be harder to know who might appreciate some extra support.

With that in mind, why not try treating everyone with extra KINDNESS? You really can make a difference.

Now more than ever, the people in your life might be feeling a little more vulnerable or a little less confident – perhaps you are too.

The theme for Mental Health Awareness Week 2020  is KINDNESS  so have a think, what could you do to show KINDNESS to the people in your life right now?
