There is some brilliant work happening in our history department and these three are good examples.

Raph and and Ben, both in 6C, have produced some amazing work on the Age of Exploration and the Silk Roads, both showing clear thinking and real pride in their work.

At the slightly older end of the scale, Mr Gordon’s reading of the Great Tales of English History has become a firm favourite with many of our middle school boys. As the book says,

From ancient times to the present day, the story of England has been laced with drama, intrigue, courage and passion – a rich and vibrant narrative of heroes and villains, kings and rebels, artists and highwaymen, bishops and scientists. … Great Tales of English History captures one hundred of the most pivotal moments: the stories and extraordinary characters who helped shape a nation.

You can hear Mr Gordon read from it here.
